Returns & Refunds policy

Y1. Workshop and Studio Refund & Cancellation Policy

Wye Gallery & Studio workshops are payable in full at the time of booking. Your place is confirmed once payment has been received.

Cancellations by Participants

We offer a refund if you cancel by email to wyegallery@gmail.com at least 72 hours before the scheduled start of the event. Refunds are issued minus a £5 admin fee per ticket. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the workshop start time are non‑refundable, as materials and preparation costs will already have been incurred.

Ticket Transfers

If you are no longer able to attend a workshop, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend at no additional cost. Please email us at wyegallery@gmail.com with their name and contact details at least 24 hours before the workshop so we can update our attendee list.

Eventbrite Bookings

Workshops booked through Eventbrite must be requested directly through Eventbrite who apply their own fees or policies, please see their website for details.

Cancellations by Us

If Wye Gallery & Studio must cancel a workshop for any reason, all participants will receive a full refund, including any admin fee.

2. Retail Returns Policy

Wye Gallery & Studio sells a curated range of art materials and creative supplies. Our returns policy follows UK consumer law for in‑person retail purchases.

We are not required to offer refunds for items that are unwanted, opened, or simply not to your taste. We may offer an exchange or store credit at our discretion if the item is unused unopened, and in resaleable condition. Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

If an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Within 30 days of purchase, you may choose a refund or replacement.

After 30 days, we will offer a replacement in the first instance.

Proof of purchase is required for all returns.

3. Open Call Exhibition Fee Policy

Artists selected for an exhibition through our open call process are required to pay a non‑refundable hanging fee to confirm their place.

Hanging fees are non‑refundable under all circumstances, as they contribute directly to curation, administration, and exhibition costs.

The only exception is if Wye Gallery & Studio cancels the exhibition, in which case all selected artists will receive a full refund of the hanging fee.

4. Sales of Original Artwork

All artwork sales are final.

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for original artworks once purchased, unless the piece is damaged, not as described, or faulty at the time of sale.

Condition & Inspection

Buyers are encouraged to inspect artworks in person before purchasing. Once an artwork has left the gallery in good condition, we cannot accept returns for reasons of change of mind, size, colour, or suitability.

Damaged Artwork

If an artwork is found to be damaged at the point of collection or delivery, please notify us immediately. We will assess the issue and may offer a repair, replacement (if applicable), or refund.

Commissioned or Custom Works should be ordered directly from the artist.
